About Us

Astra Residential strives to help residents and owners obtain the properties of their choice and to help the owners effectively manage and maximize their growth potential, in return maximizing our own.

We will ensure that every property is properly managed, because we are in the business of delivering excellent service to both our owner and residents. We have unique strategies to reduce vacancy loss and increase profits of all properties under the care of our management team.

Our Team.

Christine Stephens

Christine began her career in multifamily housing in 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia. Starting as a leasing consultant, she quickly progressed to become a Community Manager. Over the next three decades, she excelled in Property Management, training in software, marketing, and management. In 1998, alongside her property management role, Christine founded Brite Rite Services, which became a successful venture with a net cash flow exceeding $250,000 within two years. During Atlanta's real estate recession, she refocused on property management, turning distressed properties into profitable ones, including some that sold for over a million dollars. With expertise in team management, unique motivation methods, property rehabilitation, and business operation, Christine stands out for her motivation, empowerment, and strategic vision. She is a member of NAPW and holds CAM and LIHTC certifications.

Anita Hughes

Anita started her multifamily career in 2009 as a leasing consultant. Here she quickly rose from leasing to an assistant manager. Taking on this responsibility she was able to learn the financial side of property management. She was responsible for handling all accounting needs including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Anita then excelled to become an accountant of multi-site properties to commercial properties. With her experience and knowledge, she decided to advance her career in property management and accepted a promotion to become property accountant, where she handled full cycle accounting for multiple properties. Shortly after she accepted an accounting position at corporate level in 2016 where she handled full cycle accounting for up to 18 properties. During this time, her responsibility included implementing new accounting policies, accounts payable, audit requests and budgets along with full cycle accounting. As a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, Anita has fulfilled all the accounting needs on a property level as well as a corporate level.

Richard Hughes

Richard began his management career with a turnkey company as an operations officer and assisted in the company's profit growth. He then continued as a customer service and sales specialist in the retail and e-commerce environment. Increasing revenue and profit margins, Richard quickly acquired management positions. He has also earned experience in business account management distribution. He has assisted in raising his current retail/e-commerce business from a 65 million a year revenue company to 75 million this year. While managing the Computer/IT department, Richard increased profit by 15% from the year before and revenue by 20%. In running the Home Theater Magnolia premium audio/video department he has increased sales and margins by over 20%. While in this kind of business, Richard had the opportunity to be a part of many investment portfolio meetings with numerous investors. This will give him an advantage when dealing with owner's and investors. Richard's strengths are leadership, management and team building. With the experience he has gained, Richard has the knowledge to build and maintain a profitable business.
